This year our anniversary fell on a weekend, so Alex and I took our first overnight trip without Ivy. It was also the first time we've really ever done anything to celebrate our annniversary. We got all dolled up and went to my favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot. We enjoyed each others company and tried to relax although we talked about home a little, too. One thing is for certain. I am in love with this man. I may also be in love with scrapblog.com where I created this little page to share with you.

January/February... long over due.
Since we updated last...
... Ivy has been sleeping much better since the new year began. The problem, we discovered, was independence. When she would wake up in the night (or refuse to stay in her room to sleep) she was a bossy little dictator. We had to employ a little "tough love" to keep her in her room and to show her that Mommy and Papa make the bedtime decisions. That only lasted a couple of nights, though. Once she realized that we meant business about her staying in her room, naps returned as did sleeping through the night. Praise the Lord! This power struggle is over (for now)!
...We hung out with some really cool guys on New Year's Day!

...We enjoyed a winter celebration with friends, and cheered on the Panthers one last time!
And, we'll make a Valentine's Day resolution to update more often!
